That includes signs, displays, product demonstrations, brochures and anything else that can be used to promote and sell a product (or service) in a store. In clothing stores, it's the window displays and mannequins that draw people in and give them ideas of what to buy. It's end caps at large retail stores that feature a special promotion or grouping of products. In a computer electronics stores, it's stickers on products, signs around a product and the product demonstration that are developed to sell the product without someone needing to talk to a sales person.
